Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026
The Measurement Lab (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website themeasurementlab.com (the “Site”). The Measurement Lab is establishing as a single-member limited liability company in the State of New York. This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you and to understand how the Site is used. We do not sell your information.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, company, role, company revenue range, LinkedIn URL (optional), and the message you send us. If you choose to provide your email address to receive a resource or download, we collect that email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. We use Google Analytics (GA4), which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect standard usage information — such as the pages you visit, how you arrived at the Site, your general location (derived from IP address, not precise location), and the type of device and browser you use. This information is aggregated and helps us improve the Site. We do not use it to identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about your request;
- send you a resource or download you have requested;
- understand and improve how the Site performs and is used; and
- operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
If you provide your email to receive a resource, we may contact you about related topics. You can ask us to stop at any time (see “Your choices” below).
How your information is handled and shared
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We use a small number of service providers to run the Site, and your information may be processed by them solely to provide these services to us:
- Netlify — hosts the Site and processes contact-form submissions.
- Google (Google Analytics / GA4) — provides website analytics.
- Google Workspace — email submissions are delivered to and stored in our business email.
These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact-form submissions and email addresses for as long as needed to respond to you and for our ordinary business records, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Your choices and rights
- Access or deletion. You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
- Email. If you have given us your email to receive resources, you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing us.
- Analytics/cookies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site works.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below.
Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
